This is Tommy the tortoise. Unlike the tortoises your average garden turtle, Tommy is a Galapagos giant tortoise, one of the largest living reptile son the planet and part of a unique family heritage found nowhere else in the world. Weighing and impressive 500(!) pounds, he possesses an incredible ability to survive years without food nor water. This is done by breaking down his own body fat into nutrients. He is at the ripe age of 142, and despite his massive size and youthful age, his favourite activity to do is be in nature and awe the numerous visitors he gets to see every day!
As an actor, I often find myself sending headshots through the mailer, but nothing beats the walk to the post office surrounded by the lush mountainous scenery of North Vancouver, British Columbia.
When life gives you sunshine,
bask in the warmth, pause for a while
reflect on the journey that brought you here
trust in the strength you have, leave a smile
